The good old classic Kraut (unpasteurised) with a crunchy fruity touch-up. Made in the traditional Dutch way, with bay leaves and a hint of apples to keep it nice, crunchy and refreshing. All of the varieties are not as sour as the typical sauerkraut in the supermarket but with a wild funky fermented taste and rich in lactobacilli (the bacteria that support your gut).

Our products are raw, fermented & alive full of gut-friendly micro-bacteria, this is why we ship EU wide from Monday-Wednesday (so that the your box arrives before the weekend).
Single item products are shipped in the same way, within a isolation box which keeps the raw ferments chilled. Please store them in your fridge as soon as the package arrives.
Our products come within a Biodegradable Eco-Packaging. We care for the environment and reduce our C02 emissions to the absolute minimum wherever we can. The packaging costs are 7x higher than conventional plastic packaging, this is why we have to charge a slightly higher delivery fee.
We care about diversity within us (the gut) as well as around us (our planet).
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy
All food products to be purchased on www.sauercrowd.nl are chilled foods with a very limited shelf life. They can spoil if not properly stored - especially if the cold chain is interrupted - and can therefore no longer be sold when they are returned. Our fermented vegetables are therefore products within the meaning of § 312g II No. 2 BGB, i.e. those that can spoil quickly or whose expiry date would be quickly exceeded. For this reason, a right of withdrawal is excluded.
In the event that the customer's order is withdrawn before delivery of the ordered products, SauerCrowd is entitled to charge cancellation costs of 7 € (in words: five euros). This cancellation fee represents administrative and banking service costs as well as packaging costs already incurred.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at email@example.com and send your item to: Nieuwe Hemweg 4E, 1013 BG Amsterdam, Amsterdam, NH, 1013BG, Netherlands.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
